Glorify the Holy Spirit
The greatest power on the Earth is the Holy Spirit. If you want to be spiritually developed and victorious in every facet of your life as a Christian, then you need to keep Him in your heart. You will need to be in the flow with Him everywhere – meaning keep growing the fruits of the Fruit of the Spirit in this case. It's always dutiful as a follower of Christ to glorify the Holy Spirit.
The Nine Fold Fruits:- How do we firm up the nine fold fruits of the Fruit of the Spirit? That is: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control.
The answer is found in the book of John Chapter 15. In verse 4 - ''I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.'' And in verse 8: ''By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be my disciples.'' This is a straight forward statement.
Abiding is Obedience - Abiding is watering the Fruit of the Spirit.
It is very important to note that without abiding you can’t bear fruit. You must abide in Him in order to bear fruit. So if you are not abiding, you will not be bearing. On the positive side we bear fruits by attaching ourselves to the vine. In this way we grow the fruits of the Fruit of the Spirit - the Holy Spirit by watering the characters to grow.
Walk in the Spirit - It’s the only way to fulfil the nine (9) Commandments of the Holy Spirit, there’s no other better way I can put it. All our efforts to do what is righteous and good are the work of the Holy Spirit within us. To a large extent, I am greatly persuaded that any effort I make to do right is a sign of God’s grace at work in me.
From dawn to the rising of the sun through the noon hour to the setting of the sun into dusk until bedtime, let us acknowledge from our heart that we are unable to please God without the continuous activation of the Holy Spirit in us.
