Fruit of the Spirit - Noticeable Attributes of a True Christian
WHAT ARE THE FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?
Galatians 5:22–23 King James Version (KJV) tells us, “But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering (patience), gentleness, goodness, faith; meekness, and temperance: against such there is no law.”
Can the Holy Spirit Leave you?
The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is the result of the Holy Spirit’s presence in the life of a Christian. What grieves the Holy Spirit is sin. By sinning, we attempt to kick out the Holy Spirit from our life given way to the devil to take control of our life. When that happens the unbeliever and the believer (Christian) are now in the same corresponding life. God has distanced Himself from you and you become empty.
Do You Know when the Holy Spirit leaves you?
Sadly, in many instances, if some Christians with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit fall short of the values of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit as a result of transgression, they would not know the Holy Spirit is out from them. Some of them may continue to exhibit the gifts until the word of God convicts them or by rediscovering their own misdemeanor against the word of God.
Keep Yourself Guarded by constant “Reality Check”
Let us draw some “reality checks.” The Bible stipulates that everyone receives the Holy Spirit the moment he or she accepts Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior and is baptized. To keep it in you, one must therefore apply the Fruits of the Holy Spirit in one’s life. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13).
Major Reason for the Holy Spirit
One of the primary purposes of the Holy Spirit coming into a Christian’s life is to change the old life (the old flesh) to live a life as a Christ follower with commendable and praiseworthy life. The Holy Spirit conform us to the image of Christ, making us more like Him. Therefore to make us grow in the Spirit every part of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit must be complied with for that development and purity. You need a constant reality check of yourself as a Christian.
